Ashdown Chamber's Reindeer Run: Dealer's Choice






 

    We're excited to invite you to be part of our Reindeer Run! 
    This holiday-themed poker run is designed to bring community 
    members directly to local businesses like yours, encouraging 
    them to shop local and engage with what our area has to offer.

    Here's how it works: Reindeer Run participants visit each 
    business on the list to complete simple activities, like 
    getting a quote, grabbing a dessert, or checking out services. 
    For retail and restaurant businesses, we encourage participants 
    to earn a card by making a $25+ purchase. For banks or insurance 
    companies, offering a card for opening a new account or receiving 
    a free quote can be a great way to engage participants. At each 
    stop, they'll collect a card for a chance to win half the pot with 
    their best hand—plus, they’ll have fun exploring all the amazing 
    local businesses!

    By participating, your business gets increased visibility, and 
    together, we’re keeping holiday shopping dollars in our community. 
    We hope you'll join us in making this a memorable and beneficial 
    event for all!

Deadline for Little River County Christmas Ornament Contest


     If you or someone you know loves to be creative, we invite you 
     to participate in the Little River County Christmas Ornament 
     Contest. Ornaments will be displayed in the Courthouse through 
     the Christmas season for all to enjoy. We can't wait to see the 
     talent and creativity to come! 

     Ornaments should be homemade and turned in to the Little River 
     County Clerk's Office no later than November 25th.

            annual Festival of Trees! If you would like to volunteer 
            to help assemble, put lights on, or fully decorate a tree, 
            we would love to have you join us! Just send us a message, 
            and we’ll get you signed up. All trees will be decorated 
            by November 26th. Let’s make this season bright together! 🎄💫

      Two Rivers Museum Festival of Trees will be open every Tuesday

Lights of Little River - A Christmas Challenge



 Lights of Little River! 

From November 1st to December 19th, decorate your homes 
and storefronts for a chance to win the title of 
“Best Lights of the Year”!

 Homes and Storefronts Judged Separately! 
We’ll be cruising through our county, admiring holiday 
displays, but to make sure we don’t miss any hidden gems, 
please submit your decorated address or nominate your 
favorite festive displays! Houses tucked away or hidden 
behind trees may go unnoticed, so secure your spot in the 
running by submitting!

Alleene Christmas Party and Dance
Where: Alleene Community Center

     Alleene Community will host its annual Alleene Christmas Party 
     Saturday, December 14, 5:30-7:30 at community center. We will 
     have a few crafts or games for children with finger foods and 
     a visit from Santa. We ask that each family bring some type of 
     finger foods please. This will be a free event. Beginning at 
     8:00 p.m.-12:00a.m., we will have a first ever Christmas dance 
     with the Shinewell band playing and an ugly sweater contest with 
     finger foods and door prizes and a gift to the ugliest sweater 
     winner. The cost for the dance, food, and door prizes will be 
     $15.00 per couple and $8.00 for single. This will be a fundraiser 
     for the Alleene community and the park. Come and enjoy a great 
     Alleene Christmas and support two good causes. This is a family 
     friendly event. We will also be selling chances on a ham donated 
     by Matt Gilley. $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.
